Speak to Your Mountain

Last night at our Wednesday service, our Pastor talked about Mark 11:22-23. I gotta say, I really enjoy Wednesday nights because it's a great chance to dive deep into God's Word. Plus, with fewer people around, we can have some meaningful discussions. I love my church family and can't stress enough how important it is to get involved with a church that's truly grounded in God's Word and the teachings of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Sadly, there are too many churches these days that seem more focused on numbers and just teaching what people want to hear. It's crucial to use discernment and pray about the church you're part of or thinking about joining. We need to know what God actually says, not just what makes us comfortable with our sins. Anyway, sorry for the tangent, but I thought it was important to mention.
The passage we looked at says that if we have faith without doubt, we can tell a mountain to move, and it will. So, what does a "mountain" mean for you? Is it health issues, debt, or a family member? With supernatural faith and the power of God's Word, you can move that mountain. Our Pastor highlighted three key areas: 1) Alignment, 2) Command, 3) Stand. Basically, when we're in tune with the Lord, we're aligned and ready to hear the Holy Spirit. We then know God's Word to speak to the mountain and boldly declare it over the situation. After that, we stand firm. We wait on the Lord without doubt, trusting that His Word will move the mountain. We'll see victory when God gets the glory.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you received it, and it will be yours.
